The Naked Florist Experience - Emily + Liam
It’s no secret that we LOVE Redleaf, Wollombi. So when bride Emily asked us to bring some colour to her day, there was no way that we could resist. We asked Emily a few questions about her experience with us. Here’s what she had to say….
What stood out the most about your experience with us?
Ashleigh was phenomenal to deal with from our first online meeting. We finally met on my wedding morning when she delivered our bouquets to the villa. Despite me not being able to speak due to whitening my teeth, her bubbly personality and vibe filled me with confidence ahead of a massive day along with the stunning flowers she had curated. I got to experience glimpses of the reception tables being set up with all the beautiful designs, it was like having Tinker Bell flying around sprinkling magic dust everywhere. I didn't get to properly appreciate the manicured rainbow arbour until we received our photos, to which we received so many compliments from both guests on the day as well as people online. The fact the flowers looked amazing even though it was 38 degrees on the day was unreal.
Did you feel relaxed, confident and informed during the booking process?
Yes completely. I had a few online meetings with 3 florists and went through all the questions involved and Ashleigh stood out to me and I booked her on the spot. I loved that she had also gotten married at the same venue so she had so many suggestions as well as her overall floral designs which I could scroll through all day.
If we weren’t to have created for you, do you think your day would have had the same feeling?
Definitely not!! I've seen so many weddings while I was planning and since we got married and really think we nailed the brief for our budget. I feel like our wedding was so colourful and unique to others, didn't feel like a copy. Every little detail was well thought out and the fact I didn't have to tell Ashleigh what to do in any way, she nailed it!
Did we exceed your expectations in any way?
We got the best service, appreciate all Ashleigh’s hard work, in the heat, as well as the clean up the following day. Without even realising or planning, the bouquets matched the bridesmaids dresses perfectly. One of the vendors that I still keep in contact with and would 100% book her again for any event in the future.
Lastly, did you love what we created for you?
Our day couldn't have looked better. Ashleigh went above and beyond, all her designs were so whimsical and suited our Italian theme involving florals as well as fruit, vegetables, pearls, etc. If you're looking for a florist for your wedding, look no further than this cool chick!!
