The Naked Florist Experience - Catherine & Amol

We asked bride Catherine a few questions about her experience with us. Here’s what she had to say….

What stood out the most about your experience with us?

Absolutely STUNNING florals that surpassed all of my expectations! I had been chatting with Ashleigh about a warm-toned and vibrant colour palette we were aiming for and honestly she just took that brief, embraced it, and ran with it to create floral features that really wowed us, our guests, and even our other wedding vendors! On top of the beautiful creations, Ashleigh was just such a chill, relaxed, and warm presence and it was so lovely to work with her and meet her.

Did you feel relaxed, confident and informed during the booking process?

I really appreciated Ashleigh's clear communication in the lead up to the day - she was transparent about her process and the pricing, and it was a breeze to brainstorm with her regarding what vibe of florals we wanted for the day. She provided helpful guidance and these beautiful mood boards to make sure we were all on the same page. She was so understanding, flexible, and patient with all my questions and changes to the plan as well! Definitely felt relaxed, confident, and informed throughout the whole booking process.

If we weren’t to have created for you, do you think your day would have had the same feeling?

I don't think we would have had such truly unique wedding florals if we went with another vendor - every piece she created for us (from the bouquets, to the boutonnieres, to the ceremony arch, to the table and signage flowers) was truly beautiful, and struck the atmosphere and mood we wanted for the day - a modern, fun, bright, and beautiful expression of our love.

Did we exceed your expectations in any way?

Yes in so many ways! On the day, before walking down the aisle and having a chance to see the ceremony feature, I had multiple vendors come up to me and say things like: "oh my goodness have you seen the florals yet??" "they're so beautiful" "your florist really outdid herself this time!" I knew Ash had to have done an amazing job given such high praise was coming from people who were used to seeing wedding florals all the time. When I saw it for the first time walking down the aisle, it really did take my breath away. On top of that, she was so incredibly kind to take the initiative to put some single stemmed flowers along the aisle to help frame it - I was previously hoping for floral features at the beginning of the aisle but I unfortunately had to forgo the idea because of budget restraints! The single stemmed aisle flowers were lovely, and that small but generous gesture really moved me.

Lastly, did you love what we created for you?

Absolutely loved every single piece. When I finally got a chance to sit down and have a close look at the beautiful bouquets she created for us, I was marvelling at how many different types of flowers she used and how detail oriented her work was - so many different colours and textures, including flowers that I knew and loved and others that to be honest I hadn't even known existed before but were so unique and gorgeous. Even my husband (who generally thinks every floral arrangement is "fine") was genuinely wowed by all the florals and kept remarking on the day (and days thereafter!) how impressed and thankful he was for what Ashleigh created. He especially loved how modern and chic his boutonniere was - we have dried it and will keep it as a memento forever! We know our guests loved the florals as well, as evidenced by them harvesting big armfuls of the table and ceremony features at the end of the night to take home!
